Filmmaker and professional surfer, Cyrus Sutton, will be screening his newest film entitled, Island Earth, this Saturday (4/8) at the Aloha Beach Club Flagship (3039 University Ave. SD, CA 92104). Island Earth is... "A rich and complex tale of a young indigenous scientist's journey through the corn fields of GMO companies and loi patches of traditional Hawaiian elders reveals modern truths and ancient values that can save our food future."Doors open at 7 p.m. and Island Earth will be screening at 8 p.m. A Q&A session with Cyrus Sutton will be happening after the film.
