Heavily influenced by functional attire of the past, our inspiration for the Aloha Beach Club Gates Vest comes from the desire to reinterpret the classic photojournalist vest. We wanted to keep the functional elements of this safari staple while slimming and lengthening the body. The result is a lightweight garment featuring 6 front pockets designed to keep all your travel essentials where you can easily find them. The Gates is made in Hawaii from a water resistant cotton polyester poplin and field tested during hikes through the Ko’olau mountain range and impromptu escapades to some of Baja’s lesser known surf locales.
Available in Sand/Natural and Military Green in both stores and online.

A few weeks back we partnered with the good folks at Richer Poorer to help out with a campaign for their new collection. We loaded up the van and met up with fellow members of the RP Athletics Club ~ Danny Fuller, Damien Fahrenfort, and JJ Wessels, and headed south for a few days. Dylan Gordon was on hand to photograph the adventure.

Earlier this year Kahana Kalama put the Aloha Beach Club made in Hawaii Tucker Trunk to good use on a fun sized swell on the North Shore of Oahu. John Hook was there to document the wave riding. Kahana rides a 6'2" Sunfish shaped by Bing Surfboards. He also wears the Tucker Trunk in Black and White.
