Last year we had the honor of helping Destin Cretton create the wardrobe for I AM NOT A HIPSTER. Cretton is now back with another feature film Short Term 12. The film follows the struggles of a compassionate twentysomething contending with some unexpected life developments while working as a supervisor at a home for at-risk teens. Although fiction, the story is based off his own personal experiences working in a group home. “It was an extremely life-changing period where I was first introduced to the complications of the world. A country is only as good as the way it treats its smallest citizens,” says Cretton, the movie was “a small way to say thank you to people who chose to work”...
We've posted plenty of Umiliani's compositions in the past but this one is next level. He had a series of tracks that were obviously electronic and progessive in nature. Umiliani pushed the traditional Italian jazz sound in a new digitized direction while remaining true to his melodic soul.
