Musings: Motoi Yamamoto

Short Film: Twenty Fifteen
Evan shot by Brooks Sterling
Aloha Beach Club resident movie maker and full time hair farmer, Evan Schell just put out a personal video recap of his 2015. It's a little late for New Year's resolutions, but if I were you I'd resolve to make your 2016 feel a little more like this. And on that note I'm gonna go climb a mountain and hang out with some trees.
Short Film: Surf ID x Josh Oldenburg Surfboards
Our good friend and local shaper, Josh Oldenburg, recently stopped by the North Park Flagship and dropped off a fresh, quiver of surfboards that he made with Japanese shaper, Kenji Kono.
Earlier this summer Josh invited Kenji to visit and shape a collection of surfboards at his shop in San Diego. Although this wasn't their first shaping exchange (Josh shaped a collection of boards at Kenji's shop in Japan last year), the entire process was documented for a four-page feature in the newest issue of Japanese surf magazine, Blue. Stop by our North Park Flagship to check out these classic shapes.
