Bella Vita follows Chris Del Moro as he surfs and explores the rich history and coastlines of Italy. Not only is the film gorgeous to look at it(shot on 35mm), it offers an unique geographical perspective on how surfing is a reflection of its local culture and vice versa. We're always enamored by the role surfing has on a culture and people. What's striking is not the differences in language or customs but the similarity of values: friends, family, and passionate living.

Last year we had the honor of helping Destin Cretton create the wardrobe for I AM NOT A HIPSTER. Cretton is now back with another feature film Short Term 12. The film follows the struggles of a compassionate twentysomething contending with some unexpected life developments while working as a supervisor at a home for at-risk teens. Although fiction, the story is based off his own personal experiences working in a group home. “It was an extremely life-changing period where I was first introduced to the complications of the world. A country is only as good as the way it treats its smallest citizens,” says Cretton, the movie was “a small way to say thank you to people who chose to work”...
